I love my new place!!! I have nice neighbors with kids around the same age as mine!! I get to sit outside in the sun everyday!! I couldn't do that before!!!

I also got a mini lap top. its like a 10 inch screen. its cute. its red. it's MINE!! lol so I slowly have been moving my stuff from Thaddeus's computer to my lap top...with my little pink flash drive I bought its only a 4gb one so its taking me forever!!!

im loving it here. life is good...yada yada...I'll spare you lol

It's a link to Raynah's dance recital lol. Where she tap danced with her little classmates in the 2-4 yr olds class to London Bridge and Mary had a little lamb. Raynah is the first kid to go through " London Bridge" all the other kids stood in the wrong spots or just didn't do the dance..or they just sang and stood still lol.

Go watch! I'm immensely proud of her! pleeeeease?

So...as most of you know by now we're moving. On the 3rd. It's official. Deposit has been given. belongings are in boxes. I still have shitloads more packing to do but I keep running out of boxes! So I'm so happy to be moving but all the stress that comes along with it is phenomenal!! In the next 2 weeks I have to find out if Belmont has a special ed system,get my kid switched to the appropriate school system if Belmont does NOT. get my phone/internet switched to the new place,get my electricity and also my cable switched, find a new dance school for my daughter AND open up a PO box because the place does not have mailboxes. weeeee. lol

I feel bad moving now...I have lived in Franklin for about 4 yrs now. My kid is in school here. she has dance class here. My husband has a job here. But I didn't pay my rent in this place yet and used money to put a deposit down..so I kinda HAVE move now lol...

So needless to say I wont be uploading anything new for a couple weeks...If I have time to draw I'll be very surprised lol. I DID put an ad up for naughty drawings and such online so if that gets some responses then I will make time for paying customers lol

lol...funny story!!

So...I called to check on the status of the paperwork that I sent in applying for the apartment I mentioned in my last journal. They told me they denied me because of a "landlord/tenant action in 2007" Let me tell you about that first...I broke up with my daughters father in the summer of 07 and was left with the apartment ..and rent. Which I didn't have.And he was in no hurry to give me. I was an employed single mother living on state aid ...I had no money!!! and I kept getting these notices saying to pay the landlord $1027 ...ummm...no?? lol
So after me telling her I didn't have the money and my current situation. she then proceeded to try to bring me to court. luckily this was around income tax time and when I got my return I gave her the money...we never went to court or anything. Soooo...lol...when these people at this new place said that was effecting their decision I flipped out! I said " I paid her!" and she goes " yeah but usually when something goes to court..." I interrupted her with "It never went to court!" " I'm sorry..I can't approve you..." she replied ...and I hung up...pissed off. and feeling a bit shitty that my past was holding my family back now...
but then I did research...and after stewing for a few mins...I called her back. I said these things...(in some order..probably not this one lol)
"I can't believe this ONE bad thing..which was RESOLVED is holding me back. Am I blacklisted forever or are you guys just super picky!? Does the fact that my husband ..the CO-APPLICANT has no bad anything on his record not count? How about that my current rent is up to date and that I am a good,quiet tenant and have never caused problems? Does that not help me? " So anyway....after ranting and raving and bitching to this lady for about 10 mins. She told me to provide proof of the payment to my old landlord and they might reconsider. I said "Alright" So I called my bank and got a copy of the check used to pay. I called the lady back in the morning and told her " I have a copy of the check. Does that help me?" and she "yes..I'm going to approve you. I hope I'm not making a mistake. " I said excitedly " no you're not! " and she said " our conversations were...pretty bad. You're really rude!" I laughed and apologized explaining that this is not my way usually I was only frustrated by this paid debt from 2 yrs ago! She said "bring me the copy and #2 is yours."
YAY!

So...Now...I have to come up with this $945 for the first month and sec deposit. It's do-able. It's just going to be very tight while we are getting it together. I feel like a real bum though..I can't pay my rent here and save up to leave....w/e...when I move out of here I save the state money by not "living on tax payers dollars" So they can go screw! I have 3 weeks roughly to get my crap packed...

I now make this puclic request to my sister to come help me pack.Please? lol She's so organized and just way better at this shit than I am lol.

I looked at an apartment on Thursday in Belmont...about 2 towns over. It's a 2 bedroom...which is what we have now...BUT there are few features about this apartment which makes it better than this one.
read my previous journal about this apartment [link] it describes this place and I manage to rant alot lol

The place is Belmont is 2 level!! the bathroom is NOT in my bedroom and it a decent size. there is no sitting on the toilet and washing yours hands at the same time!
The two bedrooms are NOT connected!! meaning I don't have to worry about the baby waking Raynah up at 2am!
The kitchen actually fits a table and is big enough to have a normal sized stove in it. YES thats right my current apartment has a stove that you would put in an RV in it. AND its in a doorway of what USED to be a closet..meaning the stove is tipped and the food you're cooking falls to the back of the pan.
The kitchen also has a little pantry/closety thing. The living room is a tad smaller than what i have now..but its carpeted!!!! Right now I have dirty crappy unfinished wooden floors! there is a sliding glass door in the living room which leads out to a little porchy area...with has an area of grass around and and a little shed thing. which I am very excited about..my kid can go outside and play . Right now I am on a 3rd story tiny apartment.

The best thing about this apartment is..it has its OWN entrance!! a little walkway area and shrubbery around the front door lol. making it homey...not cold and subsodized looking like this place. AND I CAN HAVE CATS!!!!! lol yay! and it has a dishwasher!!

This apartment is a nice $745/mth all electric. I have called the electric company and gotten the average cost per month for the year. $30-$70. not bad eh?
this is the best part though lol. It's $199 to move in!! its some sort of move in special...I dunno. I have already been like " $199??? why?" i've investigated every reason WHY it could be so low...and I've looked at the place. asked about the electric heat...called the electric company...
I also have a friend who lives in one of these units who says its great! she loves it! so..

I am waiting to hear back about it..and I'm super excited. Everyone cross your fingers for me!
